Romania's first and only convention bureau.
Ask us anything.

We help you bring MICE association and corporate events to Timișoara, and we help you run them once they’re booked. Venues, suppliers, permits, introductions, the awkward local details nobody writes down. One email, one person, one answer.

This site is going up in stages. Here’s what’s live now, and what lands when.

What we are

Someone whose entire job is your event.

Timișoara has been hosting international events for years. What it never had was someone whose entire job is to help you put one here. Now it does.

The Timișoara Convention Bureau is the business events arm of Visit Timișoara, the city’s Destination Management Organization. We’re the first convention bureau in Romania. That means there’s no stuffy rulebook. It also means there’s no queue.

We can help because we know every venue, supplier and official in this city by name. We can make the introduction the same day you ask for it.

A working day in Timișoara. Theatre setup, full room, local crew.

Live now

Two things you can use today.

The Meeting Planner's Guide

The first guide in Romania written for the people who organize events. Venues, setups and their real capacities. Hotels, suppliers, access, transport, the things you need to know before you put a city on a shortlist. The city’s strategic priorities and the kinds of events we’re looking to attract.

Free. Download it, use it, send it to whoever signs off on the destination.

And us

The Bureau is already working.

Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll come back with venue options, supplier contacts, availability, and whatever support the city can put behind it.

Coming soon

The rest of the site, in order.

We’re releasing this in pieces rather than sitting on it until everything is perfect. Each part goes live in the window below.

It's easy here

Three things worth knowing.

Piața Unirii from above. Everything your delegates need is inside this frame.

You're closer than you think.

Over thirty destinations flown direct, Munich, Istanbul, London and Milan among them. The airport is twelve kilometers out. Belgrade and Budapest are under three hours by road. One event here is within reach of delegates in three countries.

The city is walkable.

Convention center, hotels, restaurants and the old town sit within minutes of each other. No shuttle budget. No delegates lost between venues. The largest pedestrian-only area in the country, adorned with heritage architecture masterpieces.

2023 is still paying off.

European Capital of Culture rebuilt the venues, trained the crews and gave the city a full year of running international events back to back. The infrastructure stayed and so did the people who know how to work it.

Planning something? Let's compare notes.

The Bureau answers on weekdays, usually within a few hours.
